On the wang of the typhoon, fishermen working in the sea nearby were surprised to find the little penguin bobbing up and down amidst the raging waves. Immediately recognizing her from her televised pictures, they secured Koko and contacted the center.
Remarkably, the intrepid penguin was unscathed and almost content, her indomitable spirit unbroken by her turbulent sojourn. She was brought back to the observation center, and opulence was the order of the day as all rejoiced over the unexpected return of this ambassador from the bird world.
