As the gun control debate grows more heated across the United States, many Americans are opting to purchase firearms. However, the types of people buying guns may surprise you.
For some Americans, the already volatile political climate has made the decision to buy a gun an easy one. As discourse regarding gun control ramps up on the state and national levels, many people feel uneasy and fear for the safety of their families. While some people have always owned firearms for recreational and sporting purposes, other Americans, particularly older generations, have began making their first gun purchases because of the aforementioned unrest and fearfulness.
